On August 24, 2023, a traffic officer in Salisbury attempted to pull over Langford’s Audi A3, which had cloned plates. Langford, from Rotherham, ignored red lights and drove erratically, hitting kerbs and taking a roundabout the wrong way. After crashing into a hedge, Langford attempted to escape on foot but was apprehended. It was later discovered that Langford was wanted in South Yorkshire for recall to prison.
