Prince Harry to Discuss Father’s Health in TV Interview
Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is scheduled to discuss his father, King Charles’s health during a television interview in the US. This interview will be his first since Charles postponed all public duties due to his cancer diagnosis. The interview is set to air on Good Morning America on Friday at noon GMT.
During the interview, Harry will also talk about his life with his wife, Meghan Markle, and the Invictus Games. It will be broadcast a year after the couple stepped back as senior royals and moved to the US.
Notably, Prince Harry flew to the UK last week to see King Charles after Buckingham Palace announced he had some form of cancer. While the type of cancer has not been disclosed, the Palace confirmed it was not prostate cancer. As a result, King Charles has paused all public duties while he receives treatment, with other senior royals taking on some of his responsibilities.
Historically, tensions between the royal family have emerged, especially between brothers William and Harry. Nevertheless, both Harry and Meghan are still involved in charitable work and events, such as attending the training camp for the 2025 Invictus Games in Whistler, British Columbia.
On the other hand, the Prince of Wales, who is attending his first high-profile royal engagement since the King’s diagnosis, will be present at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) film awards in London on Sunday. Since the health announcements, Prince William has attended few events.
